The Clear Voice Hotlinesm Service is a communication tool for factory workers, a tool to build better grievance systems for factory managers and a compliance assurance tool for brands and retailers.
 
Factory workers report grievances to skilled hotline professionals with local language and cultural skills via a local telephone line or via a hotline website. Hotline operators tell complainants how their confidentiality will be ensured and what steps to take if retaliation is suspected. Hotline employees encourage complainants to use existing factory grievance mechanisms first in order to encourage and strengthen good factory practices. Complaints are reported to subscribers, taking care to protect the anonymity of the complainant. The hotline operators report back to the complainant when action is taken.
